What kind of glue can be used for hair extensions?

I'm doing a friend's hair for a formal event and we want to add a few tracks of black hair to her hair, but we only want the hair to be in for that night. I'm hesitant to use regular extension glue because it will damage her hair a lot to use it for just one night. Is there a more temporary, less damaging glue we can use? Or will Elmer's glue work? Please do not respond if you are only speculating, or want to insult our idea. Thank you!

I don't think Elmer's glue would be a good idea partially due to the fact that it dries hard and this will only pull more hair out than regular hair glue plus the hair might not bond as well. I know hair glue might seem frightening but if you go to most African American beauty supply store you can find a product call Natty's hair glue remover and that should remove it without damage. The are similar products available but worst case you can just use the clear hair glue and just apply shampoo and let the soapiness break down the glue and it should have about the same effect! Good luck!

you regular hair glue, put the glue on her scalp, to remove the glue use oil sheen and add a little powder, wash your hair to get all the oil out and you should be fine.
