Well there are basically five different techniques: fusion, stiching, stiching, intergrating, bonding and clamping.Fusion is the most permanant and involves mending the hair using a hot glue gun. First, the glue is squeezed onto the root area of the weaved hair, which is then placed onto the root area of the natural hair. once in place, the hair is rolled like a casr like structure using the thumb and index finger. When complete, the hair is left to harden into a fixated position. The stiching method is less permanent and involves braiding cornrows in the hair, then stitching thr weaved hair to each row with tracks. Tracks is hair that is sewn together by a sewing machine and is used for stictching, also known as a weft. Well people suffering from alopecia, which means that hair is gone competely from the crown area of the head, various netted fabrics are used, this is called integration The net is first measured to fit the balding/thing areas. The hair surrounding this area is then braided in a circular formation and used as a base to anchor the netted fabric. The weaved har is stitched to the netm which becimes a filler for the bald area. Bonding is a more temporary method of weaving and is designed to last a few weeks. Bonding uses glue to secure the weaved hair. The glue is squeezed ib the weft (tracks) of the weave. Clamping is the most temporary and the less damaging. Hair clamping involves inserting the clamp into parted sections and snapping it into a secured position.

As for the human hair vs. sythentic hair, synthetic hair is the more popular of the two because it is man made, which is affordable. However it does not look natural. Human hair flows more naturally, but is very costly.

Tracks are where you make braids across the head and then sew the extensions in. Fusion is glueing them in. The best way is to sew it last months longer gluing lasts a few days maybe a week. Human hair is much better you cant put any heat to synthetic so you cant curl or straighten it but human hair is much more expensive. You care for extensions just like regular hair wash them but be careful with them no pullin on them or anything. They last a few months if you sew themin and a few days if you glue them.
