Hair extensions? Price? Good/bad? Where? Why?

I have shoulder-lengthish hair and I'm trying to grow it out but it just keeps looking dodgy, I was thinking about getting hair extensions but I know it's pricey and I also want it to look naturel, what are your opinions, I'm fd up of always wearing my hair the same and struggling to do anything with it! Hair extensions, good or bad? Where can I get them done IN PARIS for a decent price but also so that they look great! And how do you look after them? Thanks!

If you don't already then have your hair cut on a regular basis, round about every 6-8 weeks. People think if they don't have their hair cut their hair will grow, but this isn't true as the hair will stop growing. So it's important for a regular trim.

If your hair is very fine and weak i wouldn't reccomend them, as when they are taken out your hair will probably feel alot finer as they will take out some of your hair. The extensions are put into the hair using bonding glue, therefor when they are taken out some of you hair will come out and other hair will fall out naturally also.

This isn't always the case, some people get on with them fine. It's just maintaining them. You get used to them after a while and your not so gentle with them as you first start off to be. It's important to use the right products otherwise the hair may fall out or be unmanagable. Some hair extensions are noticable but nowerdays depending on where you get them done can look really natural. You don't know until you've tried them, but it's worth going to professionals as they can go wrong, well not nessecarily wrong but maybe not natural looking or the hair quality isn't of high standards.

I'm not quite sure about PARIS but i know there are some good salons in England, sorry ;-)

Just keep on growin it out, it'll take time, but eventually you'll have long NATURAL, and nice looking hair hun, it takes patience- who cares what people think about what your hair looks like now, you're doin it for you, and when its longer you'll love it! you can also find some shampoos that will help your hair to grow faster. (like hair thickening shampoos and such, for people going bald)

Hi, I dont no about Paris. I have shoulder length hair too and am desperate for longer hair, for years now I've been wearing clip in extensions which are good, trouble is it's a bit of a pain taking them out every night and outting them back in in the moring, the good thing is I can put a strip of bright colour in if i feel like it. But I've decided to get them done properly and have found there are a few ways of doing it, you can have them glued in(which app doesnt ruin the hair) hey can be washed as normal hair and styled -last up to 3 months, or you can have the sewn in which takes 6 hours and lasts upto 4months.Although its expensive get them done somewhere good, as a few friends have had them done cheaper and look awfull and ruin there hair %26amp; only last 3 weeks!!

u should pay a bit extra to avoid them looking fake, try and see some work the hairdresser has done previously so you know it won't all go horribly wrong
