Getting hair extensions and dying hair light brown - tacky / damaging??

i have olive skin and i have black shoulder length hair.

im thinking of dying my hair lighter, kind of a chocolate brown.

and getting extensions down to the bottom of my ribcage.

is it damaging and how long do extensions stay in for???

lol! how funny.. first i thought you were just describing ME!

well, i dyed my hair dark hazeled brown or you can say chocolate brown, then i found extensions that matched it.

if you dye your extensions.. it may not be a good idea, unless you do it professionally. they always know what they are doing.

well for me, the professional salons that i go to like sally's pro supplies, "do it urself".. dthier products last me about three month longest. but i heard all extensions last about a 2 weeks til the 3rd month depending on how you take care of it.

its kinda hard to take care of, i mean like sometimes it pulls on your hair, they can get really itchy, and you cant put as much hair products in your hair, and extensions tangle easily so it can hurt just to brush bc they are also pullin onto your real hair from the roots...

well gurl, i still do it even if it cost me all this. lol... cuz it looks good, and i love long hair... and short hair isnt just my style!
