The added tension and weight is what can make the hair break. If your natural hair is brittle and damaged you could end up with some damage. Use extra caution when combing through the wet hair after shower. Use one hand to hold onto the extension at the base of scalp while very gently combing.

It depends, but you will usually experience breakage when you take them out.

i don't think that it is a good idea to put the hair extensions is after you get your hair relaxed, hair extensions are lovely but they do damage your hair. If you are going to get them i think that you should get them before you get you hair relaxed not after. i hope that i helped solve your problem.

It won't necessarily break your hair. Breakage comes from improper maintenance while the hair extensions are in as well as improper removal (i.e. pulling the bonded hair out).

I'd suggest sewing in your hair extensions on a cornrowed base though to avoid the most damage to your hair.

I've linked some AA hair care sights that you may find beneficial.

Break... Why would you glue them in? That is the worst way to put in extensions, the glue will clog the pores and can cause baldness .

Oils are good for the hair, your scalp makes oils to lubricate the hair to keep it healthy and supple.
