I want to get hair extensions.... good ones...european or virgin hair, but i am worried if they can damage my own hair. I will not be cheap and i will find a good place to get them done ofcourse but I dont want to do it if they damage my real hair. I have clip-on's i wear sometimes on special occasions but they're so uncomfortable and heavy, plus theyre a pain to always take out and put back on, so I wanna get real extensions instead. For those of who who have them is there any damage you've noticed? Any regrets? Thanks :)

If you get the extensions sown in they do not damage your hair. Using hair glue may cause damage if they are not removed properly.

well, it depends how u take them out... If u just rip em off, it will damage ur hair. Get a professional to take em off

it depends like if you get the glue ones those really damage your hair and there are different one but i think the ones that u braid it would work with out damaging ur hair

I have the Great Lengths, and they haven't caused any damage. My hair underneath is actually starting to grow for the first time in a long time. However, because my hair is so short underneath, they are a little see-through and stringy. They do require a lot of maintenance since they are long and aren't YOUR hair. Good luck.

If done right, hair extensions will in no way damage your hair. The key are two things. Find the right stylists near you. Two, have regular maintance. See your stylist on a bi-weekly time frame. Be careful how you wash your hair. I have maintance tips on my site if you like, to many to type out.

Don't let your hair get tangled or get lazy and not brush correctly or forget to wash your hair.

Now there are many different techniques for hair extensions. They can range from $400-a few thousand. I offer over 25 Different Hair Extensions and Hair Replacement types myself. If done correctly, they will not damage your hair if you maintain them correctly. Some cost more than others, and hence some will last longer than others.

When it is time for removal, get them professionally removed. Please do not go to a regular stylist to have them removed. Go to a pro! Do not and I repeat do not remove them yourself

If you follow those tips, your hair will be fine.

no thy don't but if u want a really good ones then it will cost 1,000 dollars but if u want like 2inches then it will cost 500 they cost alot.
