Hair extensions wont blend!!?

today i bought clip in hair extensions.

they come in all diffrent widths so i can place them in my hair.

i have practiced over and over and i still cant get them to blend into my hair!

they are the same color as my hair, the only thing is that my hair is a big fuller than the extensions itself.

so when i put them in either i have more hair on the top layer or more hair on the bottom layer.

and also the hair underneth in the bottom layer is sort of wavy.

and i dont have a strait iron.

what do i do???

i really need them by tomarow to wear to school but im afaid they will look stupid because they dont blend welll.

any special secrets to blending them into your real hair/??

when it comes to hair extensions leave it to the professional

Hair extensions wont blend!!?

It's almost impossible to get the extensions to blend properly without getting your own hair and your extensions cut to blend. It helps to layer the extensions and maybe thin out your own hair a bit also, possibly adding a few layers. I had a hard time finding a stylist who would be able to help me. No one seemed to understand that I wanted my hair to blend with the extensions but still wanted to be able to wear my own hair naturally. (meaning they couldn't go overkill on blending my hair as they would with permanent extensions, my hair still had to be it's own independant shorter style.. I know, I can be a real pain!)

I would also reccomend investing in a straightening iron! If you hair has minimal wave just on the under layers (like you described) it should be totally fine to get a cheap one at Walmart or something. If you have naturally and noticably wavy or curly hair, buy something a bit more upscale. Try a Sally Beauty or similar store.

I would also reccomend purchasing additional extension hair. What good are extensions if you hair is all thin and stringy? More is generally better! Just don't weigh your own hair down tooo much, or else it will cause breaking.

If you're really in a super pinch you may want to try a braid, messy bun, or pigtails for school tomorrow. You can still show off your new locks without having them under scrutiny until you can get to a hair dresser or buy more hair.

Hope that all helped in some way.
