Hair extensions for flat hair?

I kind of have a flat head in the back, and my hair doesn't have much volume, so it makes it very noticeable. Can I get extensions just in the back part of my hair to make it more full back there? I'm not sure how hair extensions work or if this can be done. If anyone has any experience with hair extensions (price, what kinds, etc), your advice would be great. Thanks!

The cost can range up to 300 dollars, even just for a few peices. You usually have to buy the hair which can range from 60-400, then have the cost of them putting it in, which like I said can range near 300.

I had them once went wronge costing alot! try this...

Try making the top of your hair very high and volumized then make the rest straight or curley its up to you realy Have a cut where the layers are quite short at the top where the rest is at least shulder length, to make your hair volumed use volumizing shampoo and then put mouse in your hair, ( around the top layers ) use one hand to rise the short layers of the hair up, the blow dry it, and brushing make sure you put the brush under your and brush it that way. It works, my cusion has a flat head and i didnt know until she stayed the nights and woke up and saw it then.

Let me know how it goes.. Evalynn

yes you actually can and it might help you. Now the question is. Is what kind of hair do you want for the back and how do you want it glued in, sewed in, or transplant. Now I know what you are thinking those words sound scary but in the world of hair that really means. Glue: it's a glue for hair the easiest fastest way to get the tracks(hair) in. But it is messy when you take the hair out because you still will be combing out the little some of the clumps of glue for weeks. Also it can be very harmful to your hair if you don't properly take it out. Like if you just try to take it out without the removal cream or baby oil you will pull your hair out. Sew: it's a simple process of having your hair braided then the tracks applied with sewing thread. No it doesnt get sewn into the scalp it gets sewn into the braids. It it's great for a long term thing and take down is very easy. looks really great too!

transplant: it's what alot of star have done to there hair. This hair is no on a track though its hair that they practically just attach to your real hair. Kinda like they glue into your normal hair. (now don't get me wrong I don't know much about the transplanting process or how long it last but I do know that it is the one that cost the most. It cost alot to get it put in and I think the hair is more expensive. So I don't know

The other two are great though really but I'd go with the sewn in then maybe the glue. Make sure if you do get the glue the person that does it trys not to let that much glue get into you hair or whatever cause it will be messy. you dont want that. The hair really doesnt cost that much the longer it is the more it cost. most hair starts out from 8.99 to 12.99 then up. But most of the time if you go to the salon the mark up price is very high and they charge a whole lot to put it in. Find someone that knows how to do hair they are all around buy the hair you want and the products you need and have them whip it up for you. For about 50-70 bucks. But really most would be happy with 30-40 dollars but 50 works much better. Tell them if you don't like it you aint paying. It'll make them work better ya dig

Hair extensions for flat hair?

hi...I've been doing extensions professionally now for about 18 years. I've used many methods, from simple bonding(not for extended wear), tract weaving(sewn in), mega hair (hot glue), Fire monkey ( thermal resin) and Monkey Barrz(thermal resin glue) I've done extensions for many different circumstances. (bad hair cuts, hot comb accidents etc.) I've given just bangs-to fix bad cut. And for volume. the methods I use can be done to make the hair thicker without having to make it longer. The amount of thickness or volume depends on your preference. They can last as long as 5 months but, recommended is 3 to 4 months. cost depends on amount of extensions put in. about 4 dollars each. I hope this helps...
