I am interested in getting hair extensions but don't want to pay a crap load of money... has anyone ever tried the "Put on Pieces" that Jessica Simpson uses?

Yes, they're good for temporary use, I wouldn't recommend them if you want to wear them everyday, they're good for special occasions. If you're looking to wear them all the time , I would really recommend saving your money and getting the real ones, they look much better.

I've never tried Put On Pieces, but I have used other hair pieces.

You will find them to be relatively inexpensive depending on where you go. If there is a Sally's or Claire's in your area or mall, that is a good place to start with the hair pieces.

If you have any hair and beauty stores in your area you should check those out. There should be a variety of pony tails, falls, half wigs available to look at.

I just bought 18" hair extensions from sallys. I have to sew the clips on and i dont know how also i dont know how im supposed to put this on, its super long can someone please help or tell me a website with pics on how to do it

I'm just wondering would a 6pc set. of 18" human hair clip on extensions be a good set or would it be a waste of time and money, And does it look like a good set by looking at the pictures?

well yea they got great stuffs there!

I have mine and it's awesommm I love it!

It's just that you have to comb it every after you wore it!

And they're not so silky anymore after 3 or 4 times use..

no.. I couldn't have the clips stay in from there.. I had shoulder length hair.. then I used glue.. when I took the extensions out.. I had big bald spots and I had to get my hair really cut short like 2 inches.. and its a hassle for the clips to stay in.. wigs work a lot better.. but good luck..

Hair extension failure! Help!?

I have Indian hair extensions (2 tracks) that I had put in back in Sept 06. I have always used infusium leave in conditioner and wash them about 2x week. I would dry them w/ a difusser and use sponge rollers to get a soft curl (to match my natural soft curl). About 3 weeks ago my weave just stopped holding the curl. It will come out curly then after a few hours it will go straight. I havent changed shampoos or anything and I dont put any product on them. I guess I need to know if this is normal? Do they have a buildup somehow of product that may have gotten on it (like hairspray?) Is there a way to "strip" them if thats the case? I was told not to use heat on them period (and dont want to invest in hot rollers anyway). Please offer any advice- I really love them and wish to keep them- but not at this maintainence level! Thanks!

Hello, I have never used Hair Extensions but I hear clip ins are better than sewen and glued cause of damages to your hair. I am White I want my hair a diffrent color so I don't have to dye my hair and get caught up with the damages of that. I want my hair blonde. My hair is a light brown at the moment. And was wondering how to do the clip ins and if I can wash my hair and style while they are in.

Well Clip on's are nice.. But your roots will still be brown. I would go for two tone high lighted look. Because you can't go completely blond with-out dying your roots %26amp; top hair. And even if you dye your top hair, the brown will stick out from underneath the blond and it will look two toned.. You might as well go for two toned if you and not going to dye your hair to match the clip ins. :) Good luck girl! :)

first to change hair color your have to dye it. The extension clips on come off. You can not wash your hair with them on. Go to a beauty supply store someone there can help you.

Let's just say, My best friend years ago got so frustrated with her sew In's that she cut them out herself and cut off most of her own hair in the process... They are annoying, itchy and will make you nuts after a while!

i used clip in extentions for the past 3-4 months daily? its so easy! you clip it on when u want and u clip them off when you sleep or something. and they last longer than sewen in and glue. glue and getting it sewen is gonna end up MESSY. and you can just CLIP THEM OFF when you wash your hair and put them back on to style with your hair :D

Should I stop wearing weave (hair extension?)?

ok so I use to wear my own hair out a few years back (I鈥檓 21 btw) it was pretty long to my back and full but I got bored so I started wearing braids eventually becoming completely addicted to weave on鈥︹€nd by weave I mean long jet black hair extensions鈥︹€︹€ want to now stop wearing it and get a hair cut but there are two problems

1.My hair looks soooooooooo good long and it looks completely natural when I have the extensions in; everyone thinks it鈥檚 my hair.

2.I have baby cheeks, so I鈥檓 not sure how my hair would look short鈥 was hoping to lose about 15 pounds by the summer and then getting it cut. But right now I鈥檓 about 5鈥? 130....and pretty athletic so it鈥檚 hard to get down to 115.

But something has to be done my real hair is to top of my back but its sooooooooo damaged. The reason I really want to stop also is I鈥檝e just been feeling a lot of judgment from people, talking about me and saying the only reason I鈥檓 guys are attracted to me is because I have long hair extensions鈥︹€?.

What should I do鈥︹€?should I just go for it and rock the cut now instead of waiting鈥?.I know this sounds shallow but I鈥檓 use to turning heads鈥鈥檓 afraid I might not turn any without it.

I think you should just do as you please.I don't think just hair can attract a man. It could also be your confidence that added to it.I myself used to have plaited/braid extensions,temporally for a year, but this was two years ago and yes I turned many heads. My hair now just touches my shoulders and I still get glances,I still feel comfortable with my hair as it is.The main thing is, if your confident about yourself, this will shine through no matter what hair style you have.

if you want to cut your hair i think you should do it for yourself and not because you want to prove something to someone. you should cut it to a length that will look nice on you....with good care your hair will grow back. Many women look nice with short hairstyles.
