Should I stop wearing weave (hair extension?)?

ok so I use to wear my own hair out a few years back (I鈥檓 21 btw) it was pretty long to my back and full but I got bored so I started wearing braids eventually becoming completely addicted to weave on鈥︹€nd by weave I mean long jet black hair extensions鈥︹€︹€ want to now stop wearing it and get a hair cut but there are two problems

1.My hair looks soooooooooo good long and it looks completely natural when I have the extensions in; everyone thinks it鈥檚 my hair.

2.I have baby cheeks, so I鈥檓 not sure how my hair would look short鈥 was hoping to lose about 15 pounds by the summer and then getting it cut. But right now I鈥檓 about 5鈥? 130....and pretty athletic so it鈥檚 hard to get down to 115.

But something has to be done my real hair is to top of my back but its sooooooooo damaged. The reason I really want to stop also is I鈥檝e just been feeling a lot of judgment from people, talking about me and saying the only reason I鈥檓 guys are attracted to me is because I have long hair extensions鈥︹€?.

What should I do鈥︹€?should I just go for it and rock the cut now instead of waiting鈥?.I know this sounds shallow but I鈥檓 use to turning heads鈥鈥檓 afraid I might not turn any without it.

p.s please tell me you honest opinion in a civilized manner鈥ou don鈥檛 have to answer the question if you are going to be rude about it

I think you should just do as you please.I don't think just hair can attract a man. It could also be your confidence that added to it.I myself used to have plaited/braid extensions,temporally for a year, but this was two years ago and yes I turned many heads. My hair now just touches my shoulders and I still get glances,I still feel comfortable with my hair as it is.The main thing is, if your confident about yourself, this will shine through no matter what hair style you have.

if you want to cut your hair i think you should do it for yourself and not because you want to prove something to someone. you should cut it to a length that will look nice on you....with good care your hair will grow back. Many women look nice with short hairstyles.

i was gonna go out and buy some human hair extensions, they are straight and i really like that style but if i wanted to curl or spiral it for like a special occasion then would that set the extensions on fire??? or can you blow dry them and stuff. i was gonna buy them for sally beauty supply. you can check out the website if you dont know what im talking about. and how do you put in clip in ones??? is it like several clips??where do you "CLIP" them in???

NO, it is human hair which means it is just like your hair.

If you get the real human hair you can straighten it,curl it, whatever. Synthetic extensions cannot have heat applied they will burn. You can blowdry the real hair. You just part your hair a certain way and clip them in they are very simple.

If it's 100% human hair, then you can heat style it, without worrying about it burning. Make sure you're not getting a synthethic mix, you cannot wash or style synthethic hair. If it's human, you can do anything you can do with your own hair. As far as clip on's go, you can clip them anywhere, but they have been known to fall off, they're just hair clips with hair attached to them. You can also have as many or as little as you want.

Go to your local hair stylist and they should have hair extentions there you can have professionally put in and while there if you want them curled or straightened you can get it done. Im pretty sure you can curl them and stuff like that, but you would probably want a professional to do it, not yourself cuz theres a big chance you'll mess them up. : )

You should go see a professional stylist who is experienced in hair extensions and weaving. They can do it better than anyone else. But also make sure you look at their previous work and see if you like it. Ask them to explain the process of putting it in to you and how to maintain it. Also request that human hair be used because it looks much better blending with your own hair and you can style it with heat as you would your own hair. Just make sure you are comfortable with the stylist and you get all the info you need from them.

Hair patch clip/extension any good? Where to buy?

I saw a kiosk in a mall a while back selling human hair clips and extensions. They said the hair can be washed, cut, dyed and styled just like regular hair. Is this true? Also, where can I find this? I'm looking specifically for a dark brown / black clip where the net is the size of the palm of your hand and the hair is short. Used to cover up balding spots. Not those long hair extensions. Where can I buy them? If you say eBay, that is fine, but please find me a link to it. I don't even know what it is called to do a search.

Okay heres whats up. I have blonde hair but the bottom half of my hair, like underneath, is dark brown (dyed) And i am getting extensions next week. Now what should i do? Get brown extensions, blonde extensions, or what? Dye my hair all the way back blonde? Would that be too much damage to put hair extensions into? Any thought or advice would be very help ful! Get mostly brown but get a little blonde too so it doesnt look too fake. Id get them cut by a profesional too.Cuz there is nothing worse than fake looking extensions. How much are you paying for your bonding? Since ur going to a pro get them cut so it will look way more natural :) Hope i helped

If your going to a professional then they should mix it for you so it'll look natural. If your buying the clip in kind then you should probably just buy whatever color is on the bottom to save yourself some money.

well honestly there aren't any extensions for less than 20 bucks. i got some for 90 at a beauty parlor, but i saw some at sallys beauty for like 50 but they arent clips, there weave...i hope i helped : )
